Robert "3D" Del Naja has confirmed that Massive Attack will be touring extensively to support their fifth album. The album is due to come out in October, and the tour will see them well into 2010.
The album's title is yet to be confirmed, but early reports indicate it'll probably be called Weather Underground.
Obviously this is extremely exciting. I saw Massive Attack in 2006, and it was probably one of the best shows I've ever been to. This new album has been linked to collaborations with Damon Albarn and Guy Garvey, among others, so I can't wait.
