There seems to be three things that are certain in life: Death, taxes, and the fact that Damon Albarn likes to collaborate on stuff...a lot.
Even if you take Gorillaz out of the equation there's still tons of Damon collaborations out there. Here's eleven right now that I can remember...there's probably another post in this genre coming soon with the ones I've forgotten.
1. Chasing A Rainbow (1995)- Terry Hall featuring Damon Albarn.
Remember when Terry Hall tried britpop? No? Well here's a taster.
From the Rainbows EP.
2. Ten Eleven (2003)- Terry Hall, Mushtaq. Featuring Damon Albarn.
From the brilliant Terry Hall and Mushtaq album The Hour of Two Lights.
3. Time Keeps On Slipping (2000)- Deltron 3030 (Dan the Automator, rapper Del tha Funkee Homosapien and DJ Kid Koala) featuring Damon Albarn.
A pre Gorillaz, Gorillaz...if you will.
4. Feel Free (2007)- Kano featuring Damon Albarn. A lot of people think this was a misstep. I like it though, especially after seeing the version with Scratch.
5. Too Late (2009)- Scratch featuring Talib Kweli and Damon Albarn.
6. Small Time Shot Away (2003)- Massive attack featuring 2-D (Damon) on backing vocals.
7. The Repetition Kills You (2008)- Black Ghosts featuring Damon Albarn. Im torn on this one...
8. Sabali (2008)- Amadou And Mariam (produced by Damon Albarn)
9. Awfully Deep (Lambeth Blues) (2005)- Roots Manuva, this version features Damon on piano and as producer.
10. We Have A Technical (1997)- Matt Sharp and Damon Albarn. (Gary Numan cover)
11. Put It Back Together (2004)- Fatboy Slim featuring Damon Albarn.

doesnt seem to be on utube anymore :((
it was excellent!
Oh, I know which one you're talking about, Sara. Damon did a wonderful job on the piano.
Actually, if anyone can find the video, Damon gets hit with the camera microphone and looks rather pissed off. Quite hilarious, really.
