Here's your hyper-British, cheeky imagery done right. In 1993 they got away with it because this looks like they're just messing about and having a laugh. It's not too polished or over produced (see Country House).
This does have an awful lot of similarities to Country House...the oompa-oompa as Graham likes to call it.
