Damon stated on his radio show last week that some of the artists he played would be on the new Gorillaz album...Then there's this from The Independent:
"In the Hypnotics' case, that careful exposure has led to work with the likes of Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Maxwell, and Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen, with forthcoming alliances with Damon Albarn and Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea planned."
To add more fuel to the fire, The Ensemble is releasing their next album through Damon's label Honest Jons.

yeah, they're fantastic live. They used to play on the street corner downtown here in Chicago.
