Oh no I'm broke!

Brooklyn Vegan has announced that Damon Albarn is planning an Africa Express-esque show in New York entitled "Damon Albarn & The Honest Jons revue". Honest Jon's is the record label Damon co-founded which put out Mali Music (and a bunch of reggae and African musicians), it's also a record shop in Camden that's been there for 30 years! Why oh why do I have to be absolutely stony broke right now? I've already got my Lollapalooza tickets and my Monkey Journey To The West Trip booked....now this? Please, please, please let there be an Africa Express tent or stage or something at Lollapalooza this year! I know it's a long shot but I can dream can't I? Anyway, it's at the Lincoln Center in NY on July 12th. I officially hate anyone who can go.
